My sister is not having an easy time of it. Suffice it to say it has to do with divorce. All she wants is out. All she needs is child support for their three children. I've been there. The difference is that although divorce is tough on everyone, and despite our "differences", my ex-husband has always provided for our children.
The good news is that in a situation like this where someone is forced to sink or swim, my sister is swimming furiously. She has family and friends who think the world of her and who love her dearly. And best of all, despite the painful process, she is blossoming in ways that only those of us who know her best would understand.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."
So said Ralph Waldo Emerson (as if he knew my sister).

Yep, been there, done that, and blossomed like the flowers in spring. You sister will be in my thoughts, big time.
