Terrific piece. I think the person writing the headlines was just at a loss on how to sum up some complex ideas quickly. At least there weren't puns and stereotypes in the headline.

Headline is a little lame but it draws readers in to the first sentence and then you take over, Steve. You are then reappropriating authority on "vision" from GHWB; what could be better. And you educate us quickly and artlessly, as always. What an all-too-rare relief when power falls into the hands of those who are humble before it rather than those who are obsessed with it. I am excited for Mr.Paterson and for New York.
