Stephen Kuusisto: Do Not Interrupt: A Playful Take on the Art of Conversation (AARP)
NEW! In this erudite and playful primer on the art of conversation Stephen Kuusisto vigorously tackles the slippery subject of how to converse meaningfully with others. Kuusisto employs a wide range of personal anecdotes, classical texts, and an engaging style to illustrate his points. In seven short, provocative and imaginatively wrought chapters, he spins a compelling argument for the joys of “being connected,” and skillfully shows how to achieve this bond in everyday exchanges.

blue girl, I was comforted only the by fact that the noise I was hearing wasn't another swarm of gnats hovering over my head as of late.

Although I know there are people suffering where you guys are, I'm really happy to hear you two are ok. We've been thinking of you.
After I read your comment, I thought...May a swarm of knats hover over our head of state of years to come.
Was that wrong of me? A swarm of gnats following him around doesn't seem like too evil of a wish.

Thanks for thinking of us, bg.
As for your wish - if you had wished for him to inhale and gag on the gnats (as I have done four times so far)- now that would have been evil. I think you're good.
